The municipality is formed: Benabarre, Aler, Antenza, Caladrones, Castillo del Pla, Cisco, Tin, Pilz and Purroy of Solana.
Like other municipalities in the district, maintains a structure Benabarre medieval streets, which revolve around the castle that crowns its top.
Today the castle is in the final stages of rehabilitation, where we found items dating from the eleventh to the nineteenth century.

On January 20 the parties takes place in honor of San Sebastian
The festival of San Medardo take place from 8 to June 10, interpreting the dance of the palitrocs and recited one of the few pastors who still celebrated in Aragon.
Every two years, represents the dance of the Salvatge, a show inspired by the medieval metaphor of the wild.
From Huesca, take the N-240 to Barbastro, proceed on the N-123 direction Benabarre. It is situated on the river Guart, on a hill atop which dominates the castle.
