Potholing

At the heart of the massifs Maladeta and Cotiella, systems of Alba and the Cirque of Armeña concentrate some of the cavities long and hard in the Pyrenees, available only to very experienced cavers.

In contrast, the Black Cave, located in the Pyrenees near the dam of the reservoir Canelles is a very comfortable and easy route, suitable for all audiences, which affords cavity 800 meters with numerous stalactites. This cave has even artificial light.

Caving is an adventure sport with some risk, so it is expressly recommended practice in the company of a mountain guide. Many adventure companies offer this activity in the region.
