Lakes of Estaña

The lakes of Estaña are group of karst lakes most important and best studied of Aragon as they present their distinctive karst landscape that is not typical of these kinds of wetlands. they do not have any affluent and the evaporation losses must be compensated by subterranean water. The group covers the upper pond, with a flooding area of 2 ha, the Big Pond, of 16.3 ha and the small ponds of 0.8 ha.

Access: 

from Benabarre, take the N-230 direction Estopiñán del Castillo. Once you take the detour to Estopiñán, go towards Estaña.
