Museum of History and Traditions of La Ribagorza

The Museum of History and Tradition of Graus "Casa Paco" welcomes La Ribagorza ethnological heritage thanks to the legacy of Vicente Turmo grausino Mur, who recovered, restored and collected over three decades a multitude of objects, and good film part of local folklore, audiovisual collected in a fund.

Graus Foundation Home Museum and the Cultural Association Paco Vicente Turmo Mur "Pallasón" managed the Museum which was opened on March 16, 2011.

With the main entrance on the street and Fermin Mur y Mur, the building has an area of 659 square feet on three floors, plus cellars.

The museum has digitized photographic 5000 files covering topics regarding many different parties, families and the village Ribagorzana times since the late nineteenth century. Also displays objects related to different agricultural work and crafts of the era, such as toys, school supplies and old tools of the most diverse nature. Also noteworthy is the space devoted to the visual collection.

Among the objectives of the Museum include the recovery and restoration of traditional tools and utensils, the representation of trades, the recovery and restoration of traditional musical instruments and popular music, the big heads, giants and elements linked to parties Graus, the collection, restore, archive and exhibition of audiovisual material Ribagorza and collection, archive, study and dissemination of oral tradition.
